What is the Marketplace?
The Marketplace features two general market locations, each under a 131ft x 65ft tent, located at the north and south ends of the festival grounds. The Grafton Street Marketplace tent is situated on the north end of the festival grounds, between the Dublin Stage and the Trinity Stage. The Temple Bar Marketplace tent is located on the south end of the festival grounds, near the Celtic Rock stage.
What is the Emerald Arts Isle?The Emerald Arts Isle is designed to be a mini arts festival inside the Dublin Irish Festival, showcasing handcrafted Celtic items. Over the years, it has showcased some of the best Irish and Celtic artists from North America. The area is promoted separately and is physically separated from the Grafton Street Marketplace and Temple Bar Marketplace.Requirements for Emerald Arts Isle:• All work must be the original hand-produced work of the artist; studio or production work is not acceptable.• We will not accept work from commercial molds, kits, or manufactured work.• Collaborating artists are permitted; however, only their joint work must be shown.• Artists may only sell work in those media in which they are accepted.• All applicants for Emerald Arts Isle (including past vendors) must submit a minimum of a 25-word artist statement describing their process and how it relates to the above criteria.
What is the Wee Folk Area?
The Wee Folk area is a small section situated on the east side of the festival grounds, near our Wee Folk Stage and other children’s activities. This area is generally reserved for vendors who cater to our wee folk.
